A Carousel Nursery
This client wanted help creating a nursery for her baby girl who is due in August. She did not know what direction she wanted to go in except wanting to use her late Grandmother's carousel music box as an inspiration for the space. We created mood boards for her to pick what she liked for the space. We can't wait to reveal everything we got to the expectant mom and to share the finished space with you when it is done!
The Finishing Touches on a Gorgeous Modern Farmhouse
This client moved to a new modern farmhouse home and brought all their old furniture with them. They needed some new rugs, furniture and decor to fit their new space and welcome them into their new home. All it needed was some finishing touches to make it feel homey and complete. Let's Enjoy this Beautiful Room
This client asked us to help create a usable space for them in the sunroom at the back of their house. This was literally the room that served no purpose except for an occasional work call or zoom meeting. It was where all their old furniture went to die and was a mishmash of old furniture. They literally used the entire room as a hallway to their back yard and patio. We helped them create a room they will want to come to relax, reconnect after a long day, take a zoom call or to enjoy with guests during outside parties.
One Room at a Time
This client asked for help with updating her living room. We convinced her that her living room needed to be in her dining room that was much larger and that her family never used. She also had us do a complete refresh of her master bedroom to create a space for her to recharge in. We came back a year later to create a reading room for her as well. Can't wait to see what's next -trying to convince her to do a speakeasy vibe in her sunroom.....
Teen Bedroom Refresh
This client was KT's son Jake. He asked for a room refresh for Christmas that would encompass his love of reading, gaming and a place to study. His only requests were a place to display his expansive Lego Collection and to include the color teal. His night and day space is awesome and so him!
Getting ready to Celebrate!
This client wanted a refresh in their dining room before a family birthday celebration. They were attached to their dining room table and sideboard and their bar cart. They also had a rug they had inherited that they wanted to keep. We created a quick turn around on this project and had it finished a week after we saw the space. This vase and runner combo may have been copied by friends on multiple dining room tables across Massachusetts. ;)
Let's Get Rolling
We are lucky enough to have worked on two airstreams! 2020 had us staying home but all looking forward to hitting the road and exploring again. These two different airstreams have very different feels but both of them make you want to get rolling!
Let's Make this Room Great!
This project started with a blank slate. The construction was not even finished and the walls weren't up when we first saw this space. The family wanted a room for them all to relax and unwind in. We worked hand in hand with the homeowners to pick every piece in this room. The adjacent room also got a complete update to a round dining room table that can be used for puzzles, games and homework and a sitting area for reading or watching their toddler play with his new train set. We also helped them refresh their connecting dining room and sitting room just off their great room.
Ten More Years
These homeowners were ready to move when the pandemic hit. Their three college aged daughters convinced them to stay in the house for ten more years. Mom conceded as long as she got a new kitchen! During this project we walked the homeowners through cabinet color choices, walls staying in place or coming down, backsplashes, counters, lighting and cabinet door hardware choices. While they still have some trim work to finish out these clients are already enjoying their expanded kitchen. Also did a quick refresh of living room off of kitchen. Starting 3rd floor guest room/bedroom project this month.
Staged to Sell
These homeowners were getting ready to move and wanted a simple design to make their living room more appealing to all buyers. They had bright wall colors but wanted to keep the existing sectional and tv cabinet. We created a mood board to help them visualize what their space could look like with a new color scheme and fun rug that spoke to their love of color. Here is a second home we staged to sell. From Playroom to Mom's Relaxation Space
These homeowners finished their basement and moved their kids playroom downstairs. Mom was ready for a room of her own for girls nights and movie nights (she does share with the rest of the family!) We helped her pick out everything in this room including paint color, rug, couch and chose and styled all teh smaller furniture, decor and artwork as well. Moody Masculine Office
With everyone working from home during the pandemic this family wanted to create a home office that was private and quiet and personal. What started as a quick 15 minute decision to choose a paint color ended in a moody masculine office that we all love. Most importantly the homeowner has a wonderful work from home space that meets his needs and his style.
Modern Farmhouse Vibes
This family had a beautiful new home and all the furniture to fill out their space. They needed help with the finishing touches for their modern farmhouse space. We completed this look in their family room with a blanket ladder, custom small woods family photographs, decor for their shelving and blankets and pillows to bring out the colors in their rug. We also did finishing touches and decor and mantle displays in their dining room and their front sitting room.
When it Rains Look for Rainbows
We created a whimsical room for a 5 year old girl who loves unicorns. She had requested a cozy chair so we created this canopied corner in her room for reading and hanging out. Sleep tight T under all those rainbows and stars. We also did a decor refresh for this family's living room and dining room. Moving On Up
We helped this expanding family move upstairs to a larger apartment to get ready for their new addition. They brought several pieces of furniture with them and we bought and furnished the rest of the space to get them ready to move into their new home complete with a nursery, office, living room, master bedroom, walk in closet and eat in kitchen space. Most of the art work, decor, pillows and bedding was also brought in as part of our design plan.
Super Heroes
These two brothers are super hero obsessed and were so excited to see the big reveal when they got home from school. Starting with just their beds and bedding and the them of superheroes this room was so fun to work on with the boys' mom to create a space the whole family loves. Boujee on a Budget
This college student is esxcigted to move off campus for her senior year but does not have a large budge for her room decor. We shopped the Facebook marketplace pages and came up with a room that suits not only her style but also her budget.
May Flowers
After a lot of rain this April in New England this homeowner was ready to get organized in their mud room. Packing away winter gear and brining out raincoats, umbrellas and rain boots very quickly switched this room from winter to spring. The dog and new puppy kept us company while we gave this room a fresh spring makeover.
Pop of Color
Our clients had painted their main living room a fresh new neutral color after years of having bold color on their walls. When they were done they loved the new walls but realized they were really missing the color that they both loved so much in the room. A new rug, pillows, blankets and some decor pieces personalized the room to their color -loving tastes.
Ready to Rent
Our client was the new owner of a beautiful home on Cape Cod that was in need of a refresh but already had a number of renters for the upcoming season. We came in and redesigned and decorated the rooms to downplay the older design styles of wallpaper and to play up the vacation ready feel of this home near the beach.
