We might be some of the last to the solo stove game but we are here for it! We got one for the lake for our 26th Anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed fires on the deck by the water all fall with it. It really does send off great heat and makes for a less smokey fire. We love that we can move it around unlike our fire pit and bring the fire to wherever we want to be. S'mores anyone?
We love our personalized LL Bean tote bags. We have two. One for our lake house with our cottage name on it, "Duckhead". We bring this tote back and forth so it is the perfect way to stow items we need to bring to the lake the next time we go. We keep it just inside our garage so if we grab something on our lake list at the grocery store we just toss it in there for our next trip. When we are heading home we fill it up with opened chips and things we want to bring home when we leave the lake. We also have a Lake note on our iPhones to keep us organized as well. We take pictures of our fridge and pantry and keep our running lake grocery list on there too. Our second tote is larger and has our family's last name on it. We uses it for camping, going to the beach, picnics, etc. Great place to stow all the extra gear including bug spray, sunscreen, raincoats, a picnic blanket etc for all our family outings. If you get one make sure to personalize them!! It makes a great gift!
Our waterproof speaker is often packed in our tote bag. We bring it to the lake and the beach as it is waterproof. Listen to music outside on the patio and the porch and play tunes while we are cooking and baking. One of our favorite family pastimes is listening to good music while floating in the lake!

We have FINALLY starting playing cribbage now that we are empty nesters. My husband has been after me for years to sit down and learn the game with him. We got this great personalized lake cribbage set as a gift and now after dinner cribbage has become part of our empty nesting routine. (I'm not sure if he is glad he taught me as I win a LOT!). This was a game that he played with his family as a kid. Looking forward to teaching our own girls so they can play too.
