Best Gifts for the Person that is ALWAYS cold!

How to get outside and enjoy New England's cold temperatures! KT is an Arizona girl.  My brother Chris was born and raised in New England but moved to California after college and then he and KT sailed around the world in warm climates for 6 years.  Two of my girls go to college in Virginia.  It doesn't take long to be cold sensitive when you come back to New England and the cooler temps we have here in winter (or all year long in our hockey rinks!).  Our dad had thyroid disease and Alzheimers and regulating body temperature is one thing that becomes difficult with both diseases.   He loved his heated vest and often wore it inside in winter just to take the edge of when he was cold.   Here are a few tried and true warming clothing options that we have gifted or that Chris and KT personally own and love.   All items are true to size so get your regular sizing if you opt to get one.   If you are someone who wants multiple items you can interchange the batteries and buy your second item without the battery pack to reduce the cost.  They are a bit on the pricey side but worth it! Anything to get outside in New England! KT and my dad owned this vest.  A friend got it for his mom who is always cold and she loves it too.  Perfect for wearing under a coat or just around the house.  KT describes it as lighter and something you could wear under a sweatshirt or coat.   quote from a friend:  The Ororo heated vest is the best thing I’ve ever owned!

This Unisex sweatshirt is KT's go to.  yes I love the vest! I might actually love the zip hoodie more though lol!  She is a sweatshirt girl (she is wearing it at the hockey rink above!) and loves this one for it's heaviness and wears it without a jacket most of the winter.  My brother has the coat because he rides his bike to the office and is out in the elements more frequently.  KT generally tries to avoid the elements. ;) KT is also sitting on the heated pad (below) at the rink and has a blanket over her as well. Her son is on two hockey teams so she wanted to figure out a way to enjoy watching him play and being warm is key!

KT loves these mittens because her hands are always cold and she is a snowboarder.   Chris skis, snowboards and does lots of projects outside so needs his fingers to be able to maneuver his gear.

I'm a boiler so am sitting next to them in the hockey rink and unzipping my coat and taking off my hat.   For those of you that get cold easily they are worth it!
