With renting our lake houses on VRBO we often do a quick refresh before each summer season.   A few new wine glasses to replace the ones broken over ski season, a couple new lake towels to replace the ones that blew off the end of the dock one windy weekend, wrapped sponges, paper towels, dish soap, some new games etc.  

One thing that we replace every few years are pillows or pillow covers.  I like to have neutral pillows because no matter where I put them they always end up all over the house when we return.   It's like the renters like to play a game of musical pillows.    Here are some of my recent favorites along with a couple neutral ottomans for extra seating when puzzling or playing games at the lake.   And my favorite lake blanket.  I love it so much I had to buy a second and I'm thinking about a 3rd because I am the one who is always moving it to wherever I am at the moment.   And bonus it is on sale!  If you want a complete list of how we get our VRBO ready for the busy renting season let us know!
